Burying Point Cemetery
Constructed in 1637, the Burying Point Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Salem. It is known to be the hallowed grounds that holds the spirit of the twisted Judge John Hathorne who condemned so many innocent souls.
Joshua Ward House
Now the merchant hotel, this was one of the first brick houses in Salem. Guests have reported feeling crushed at 3:00 a.m. by an unseen force. Most never return again after their first visit.
The Witch House
The Witch House is the only building still standing from the days of the Witch Trials. Judge Jonathan Corwin’s house has been the subject of many paranormal investigations, and few are disappointed with their visit.
Salem’s place as a ghostly hotspot has been cemented in the pages of American history, as the ravenous years of the Salem witch hunt left a dark stain upon one of Massachusetts’s most haunted towns. But, there is much more hiding beneath the colonial village. Every step in Salem is full of otherworldly thrills.
Modern buildings now stand where historic homes once lay, but the people who were buried there aren’t ready to let go. The many judges who accused more than 200 people of witchcraft have more than made their mark upon the town. The 19 innocent souls these judges brought to the gallows now wander the town along with their burdened spirits.
With them are the legendary sea captains of old who have made their home here in Salem. But it appears their love of maritime life has anchored them to their former stomping grounds. They now inhabit some of the oldest and most haunted homes in Salem, MA, and their residual energy refuses to diminish.
The most haunted places in Salem are not hard to find due to the atrocities that took place here. Proctor’s Ledge, the site of the brutal executions, is now dedicated in honor of those who died there. But many believe these souls still fly around in the form of orbs today. Gallows Hill, formerly thought to be the site of the hangings, is ripe with full-bodied apparitions and unusual sounds.
With over four hundred years of macabre history, Salem is full of unexplained activity. The House of Seven Gables is considered one of the most haunted houses in Salem. Sightings of ghastly children are reported on nearly every floor of the colonial mansion. The most terrifying of them all is the Old Salem Jail, where the accused of the Witch Trials were held. Old prison guards and prisoners alike are known to appear in the midst of freezing cold air.

Our tour is a heavily researched fact-based adventure into the dark history, and reputation of America’s most haunted city.
“You know, I’ve always wanted a child. And now I think I’ll have one on a toast!” Winifred Sanderson, perhaps one of ... Salem’s most famous fictional witches, coined that phrase. Come fly with us, as “we put a spell on you and now you’re mine.”
